The World Cup races start today in Beaver Creek. Time to polish up your cow bell and head out to Red Tail camp. The ski run is open this year for those who would like to ski to the races, or you can catch a shuttle from the base of Beaver Creek.

Saturday will be the much anticipated mens downhill race starting at 11:00AM. Following the races Saturday night will be a gallery tour in Beaver Creek offering free appetizers and wine. Sunday will finish off the races with the Giant Slalom followed by the awards ceremony.

This is the last stop for the racers on their way to the Vancouver Winter Olympics starting February 12, 2010. Get out and cheer for your favorite racer this weekend.
